Police are back at the scene of a security alert in Derry/Londonderry.
The Glengalliagh Road has been closed for follow-up enquiries following a public safety operatIon yesterday.
It resulted in disruption for most of the day.

A PSNI spokesperson said: ''The Glengalliagh Road in Derry/ Londonderry is closed this afternoon as police carry out follow-up enquiries in relation to the security alert yesterday in the area.
''Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main routes for their journey.''
