It's thought a series of nighttime burglaries at firms across County Down could be linked.
Premises in Killough, Strangford, Annacloy, Crossgar and Temple were targeted and cash taken early this morning.
Detective Sergeant Johnston said: “We would appeal for anyone who witnessed any unusual activity in the areas of Strangford, Annacloy, Killough, Crossgar and Temple in the early hours of today to contact Police with that information.
"We also urge the owners of any commercial properties to be extra vigilant with regard to the security of their premises at this time.
"We appeal for anyone with information to contact the Detectives at Downpatrick on the non-emergency number 101 and ask for extension 31748.
"Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
