Police stop vehicle with badly worn tyre in Cookstown

Police stopped a vehicle with a badly worn tyre in the centre of Cookstown on Friday night.

They say the tyre was defective and in a very dangerous condition, offering no grip when braking.

The driver was handed penalty points and a fine.
