Police treating the sudden death of man from Derry-Londonderry as "suspicious"

Police in Derry-Londonderry are treating the sudden death of a 27-year-old man as suspicious.

The body of father-of-one Thomas Doherty was discovered in his room in a hostel in the Crawford Square area on Saturday morning.

Police say that a post mortem examination is due to take place.

They've asked anyone who was in contact with Mr Doherty in the 24 hours leading to his death to contact them on 101
