Police warning after report of device left in Fermanagh border area

Police say they're investigating the report of a device being left near the border in Fermanagh.

People are being warned not to touch any suspicious objects in the areas of Cavan Road and Clones Road, Newtownbutler.

The PSNI says it's working to establish the exact location of any such device.

In January, the Continuity IRA claimed to have opened fire on a police helicopter in Fermanagh, but detectives said it was a hoax.
