A public meeting over the proposed closure of the jobs and benefits office is to be held in Cookstown this Thursday.
The proposal has been put forward by the Department of Communities.
However there has been widespread criticism over the suggested closure.
Those requiring support in relation to benefits would have to travel to Dungannon or Magherafelt.
Staff meanwhile, could be relocated out of the area.
It's understood no decision will be made until after a public consultation. The meeting takes place at the Royal Hotel in Cookstown at 7pm.
