A 12 year-old boy has been injured following a hit and run incident outside Garvagh, in Co. Derry/Londonderry.
It happened in the Kurin Road area on Friday afternoon - but the details have just been made public.
The child was cycling in the area just before 2pm when he was struck by a white or light blue/grey van - similar in size to a Citroen Berlingo.
The boy is recovering from a broken toe and bruised ribs.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who has information or dash-cam footage to contact police in Armagh on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1677 15/01/21.
