Shots were fired at a house in Derry/Londonderry over the weekend.
It happened on the Rossdowney Drive area on Saturday night.
The home was occupied at the time and police say a toddler was sleeping upstairs.
Police say the extemely reckless act could have led to fatalities.
Detectives are appealing for information from anyone who may have heard the shots or saw anyone fleeing the area.
