A man arrested in connection with a paramilitary style shooting in Derry last week has been released unconditionally.
The victim was shot four times in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area of the Bogside on Tuesday night.
The 32 year old suspect was also being questioned in relation to a previous attack in March of this year.
Following last week's attack a PSNI Detective Sergeant said: "The victim was taken to hospital with wounds to his legs and abdomen.
"His injuries though serious, are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
"We believe four masked men were involved in this brutal and horrific attack and we would ask for the community's help in identifying those individuals."
