A security alert in Coleraine has now ended.

A suspicious object in the Drumtarsey Road area has been taken away for further examination.

Residents have been allowed to return to their homes, and the road has now re-opened.

A suspicious object found at the Drumtarsey Road area of Coleraine has been taken away for further examination.

The road has reopened and those evacuated have all returned to their properties.
