A teenage cyclist has died after his bike and a car collided in West Belfast.
It happened at around half 4 yesterday afternoon on the Springfield Road.
The cyclist was 13 year old Eoin Hamill from the local area.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Inspector David McBride said: “Very sadly, a young cyclist has lost his life today. He was 13-year-old Eoin Hamill from the local area."
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the Springfield Road area between 4.15pm and 4.45pm and who witnessed this collision, or who may have captured dash cam footage, to get in touch as soon as possible. Please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1302 of 03/01/20."
“A man has been arrested and is currently assisting with our enquiries.”

West Belfast MP Paul Maskey said,“The community in West Belfast has been left shocked and saddened by the death of a 13 year-old boy on a collision on the Springfield Road."
“This death is a tragedy that has left the local area stunned."
“My thoughts and sympathies go out to the family and friends of this teenage boy at this tragic time.”
