Detectives investigating violent dissident republican activity have released three men arrested in Dungiven and Eglinton pending reports to prosecutors.
They were held on Thursday night.
On Friday the same investigation saw a firearm recovered from a quarry outside Dungiven.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Three males arrested in the Eglinton and Dungiven areas on Thursday night by Detectives from Serious Crime Branch, investigating violent dissident republican activity, have been released pending a report to the PPS in relation to the possession of a firearm.
"A firearm was recovered during a search of a quarry area on Dernaflaw Road in Dungiven."
