Two farmers have been convicted at Antrim Magistrates Court on a number of animal welfare charges Dennis Hammil from Crumlin was convicted of two charges of transporting animals unfit for a journey.
His son Andrew Hammil received a similar conviction and was fined six hundred pounds.
The case arose after a vet found that two cows had 'been caused unneccesary suffering during transport'
