A woman who tragically died in a road accident in Louth has been honoured for her charity work posthumously.
Josie Duff, 79, was hit by a car as she stepped off a bus on the busy N2 road just outside Ardee in January.
The Ballygowan local had been a 'long-term' volunteer for a local hospice and the Irish Wheelchair Association.
She was one of 23 people honoured as a Sunflower Hospice Hero at a Dublin ceremony yesterday.
