Police have confirmed that the two people who died following a three vehicle road traffic collision on the A1 carriageway near Newry, were 87 year old Raymond Halliday and 47 year old Anna Dodds.
The pair were travelling in a silver Skoda Fabia when the collision occurred on the North bound carriageway yesterday afternoon.
Both were from the Newry area.
