Downpatrick officers are appealing for information following a break-in.
It happened at around 3:30am in the early hours of Sunday in the Saintfield area.
Police say the Downpatrick Street householder disturbed the burglars.
Anyone who noticed any usual or suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact them.
