Woman arrested for reverse ramming cop car released

A woman who was arrested after reversing into a parked police car has been released.

The 36 year-old was detained in the early hours of yesterday morning after officers approached her parked car.

Despite being there legitimately, she "bizarrely" reversed forcing the officers to jump out of the way, and crashed into the patrol car.

A report will be submitted to the Public Prosecution Service.
