A number of men armed with batons have smashed windows in Dunmurry.
A woman was also assaulted during the disturbance in the Laurelbank area around half 7 last night.
Police were called to the Poleglass area after several cars and a house were targeted.
In a Facebook post a local councillor said there had been tensions with a family in the area.
Stephen Magennis appealed for calm and informed residents the family had left.
The woman who was attacked, didn't recieve serious injuries and a 28 year-old man was arrested.
He was interviewed and later released on bail pending further enquiries.
