Hughes' absence has detrimental effect on Blasters

There’s speculation that Aaron Hughes’ absence has had a detrimental effect on the Kerala Blasters.

The Cookstown man has been summoned by the Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill to bolster its defence.

 It means that Kerala is currently without its most influential player.

It’s the absence of Hughes which will hit Kerala the most but manager Steve Coppell believes other players can step into his boots.
