Omagh Accies draw in second round of AIL campaign

Omagh Accies RFC took on Midleton RFC on Saturday in Division 2C of the Ulster Bank League. 

The game played at Thomas Mellon Playing Fields ended in a draw, with both teams scoring 29. 

While it was a great achievement against an experienced team, the Accies said it "should have been more as the lads dominated their opposition through the match. They lead the game right up until the last minute". 

However, a spokesperson also said "7 points from our first two games is a good start to the AIL campaign." 

The Accies now sit in third place with 7 points, only 2 points behind Sligo who are at the top with 9 points:
