A man's been left traumatised in his own home after being forced to lie on the ground by masked and armed intruders in county Tyrone.
Four men - two of whom had weapons - forced their way into a property on the Castletown Road in Aughnacloy around 6 O'clock yesterday evening.
The property was searched before the gang made off with a sum of money in what detectives are treating as an aggravated burglary.
Detective Inspector Robinson said: "This was a traumatic ordeal for the victim who was in his own home, a place where he rightly deserves to feel safe. Thankfully, he was not physically injured.
"Our enquiries continue this morning, and we are keen to hear from anyone who was in this area yesterday evening around 6pm and saw any suspicious activity, or has information about what happened to get in touch with our detectives in Mid Ulster on 101 quoting reference number 1560 of 11/01/21."
