Officers from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit, investigating violent dissident republican activity arrested a 44 year old man in Derry/Londonderry this afternoon.
He's been taken to Musgrave Street police station in Belfast and is being questioned by counter terrorism detectives.
He was arrested under Terrorism legislation.
