A Cross border policing unit has seized Cocaine and Cannabis worth over €900k in Co.Louth.
Gardai say an intelligence led operation resulted in two vehicles being stopped at around 1am on Sunday travelling towards Ardee.
Two men, aged 41 and 33, and one woman, aged 33, were arrested and taken to Dundalk and Ashbourne Garda Stations.
Cocaine and Cannabis with an estimated street value in excess of €900,000 was seized along with an animal transporter truck and a high powered car.
Follow up searches took place in Leixlip, Co Kildare and Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, where officers seized a vacuum packing machine and €8,000 in cash.
The operation was carried out under the cross jurisdictional Joint Agency Task Force, which was established under the Fresh Start Agreement.
It's made up of the PSNI, An Garda Síochána, HM Revenue & Customs, the Revenue Commissioners, the Home Office Immigration Enforcement, the Criminal Assets Bureau, and the National Crime Agency.
