Police have praised fans after a largely peaceful match between Linfield and Celtic at Windsor Park last night.
Superintendant Norman Haslett said: 'I would like to pay tribute to and thank the vast majority of football fans from both football clubs who behaved impeccably and enjoyed the football match in Belfast between Linfield and Celtic this afternoon'.
However, a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly behaviour. Bottles and coins were thrown at Celtic players and police in riot gear monitored the crowd after skirmishes involving Linfield supporters.
The Blues lost the Champions League qualifying match 2-nil.
