Construction work is underway at the Quays Shopping Centre in Newry.
It's estimated that Phase 5 of the extension will cost in the region of twenty million pounds.
The building will be detached from the main complex with a bridge linking the two.
There will be six shops and three restaurants.
Construction will also include a multi-storey car park with 600 spaces, and new access for drivers via Drumalane Road.
The works are creating hundreds of new construction and retail jobs.
