Police have condemned as brutal and horrific an attack on a 19-year-old man in Bangor.
The assault happened in the Ballynoe Gardens area of the Killcooley Estate last night.
Shortly before 9pm yesterday evening it was reported that a man was being assaulted by two other men at the rear of Kilcooley Shops.
The teenager is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact them in Bangor
