Three men have been arrested by detectives investigating a security alert in Co Antrim last month.
The alarm was raised in Lurgan Road, Crumlin, on Thursday January 16 after a device was discovered wedged in the front grille of a vehicle.
The men were arrested following a number of searches in Belfast, Newry and Dunmurry on Friday.
A PSNI spokesman said: "This morning, detectives from Criminal Investigation Branch based in Musgrave, supported by colleagues from the Terrorism Investigation Unit and Operational Support Department conducted four searches in the Newry, Belfast and Dunmurry areas and arrested two men aged 55 and a third aged 58.
"The men were arrested under the Terrorism Act and have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave for questioning."
