Holders Glentoran Women are through to the semi-finals of the Electric Ireland Irish Cup after a 3-0 win against Cliftonville at the Dub on Monday night.

Demi Vance followed up her double in Friday's League Cup final with two more goals after American defender Jessie Davis had broken the deadlock. 

Comber Rec. also won 3-0, beating Ballymena at the Showgrounds to reach the last four of the competition for the first time.

Crusaders Strikers had a 4-1 victory in their quarter-final away to Lisburn Ladies.

Linfield beat Sion Swifts 3-1 at New Midgley Park with 16-year-old rising star Caitlin McGuinness hitting a hat-trick.

 


Meanwhile, another talented teenager from the Blues is on the move across the water.

Northern Ireland midfielder Megan Bell is joining English Championship side Durham Women where the 18-year-old will attend university.

The stage is now set for a Blues-Glens top two showdown in the Danske Bank Women's Premiership - Linfield are three points clear as they host their title rivals on Wednesday.

Cliftonville v Sion is off while there's a basement battle - Derry City against Comber at the Brandywell.
