A man has been arrested after shop workers were threatened with a knife in west Belfast.
Two men demanded cash on the Kennedy Way yesterday evening but got away empty ended.
We're told the suspect - who's 30 - was picked up by detectives on the Andersontown Road a short time later.
Police arrested a 30 year old male following an attempted armed robbery of a shop on Kennedy Way in W Belfast around 5.25pm yesterday evening. Suspect remains in custody. Witnesses asked to call 101 quoting reference 1010 02/12/17.
