Detectives are investigating after a two legally held firearms were stolen and a man was assaulted in Newtownards.
It happened in the Killynether Road area at around 5.50am yesterday morning.

It was reported a man was in the area and approached by two unknown men.
The suspects told him to lie on the ground before taking the guns from a car parked in the area.
One of them allegedly punched the victim in the mouth during the incicdent, as they made off in an unknown vehicle.
Detective Sergeant Deehan said, “Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or noted any suspicious vehicles in the area at this time, to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 381 24/08/19.
"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
