A 33-year-old man who was arrested following an alleged stabbing in west Belfast has been released on bail.
The 58-year-old victim suffered wounds to his head during the incident at property on Norglen Parade just before 8pm on Wednesday.
Police are appealing for information.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “A 33-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following the report of an assault on a 58-year-old man at a property in Norglen Parade, west Belfast, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.”
Inspector Ferguson added: “Police are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses to this incident and anyone with any information or who may be able to help with the investigation, we would ask them to call the non-emergency 101 number quoting reference number 1907 14/07/21.”
