Liam Neeson has stood down as president of his childhood All Saints Amateur Boxing Club in Ballymena.
It's understood to be a fall-out over his support for legalising abortion.
Neeson recently narrated an Amnesty International film calling for the Republic to repeal the constitutional ban on abortion:
