A man in his sixties has been shot in the leg by a group of masked men in Derry-Londonderry.
The suspects burst in to the house in the Ballymagroarty area at around 11pm on Thursday night.
They forced the victim to the floor, before wounding him.
He was then taken to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, Another gunshot has been fired at a house in the Rossnagalliagh area of the city.
It happened during the early hours of this morning, however nobody was injured as a result.
Police have appealed for information surrounding both incidents.
