Police in Cookstown have taken to social media to show the horrifying aftermath of a recent crash outside Tobermore.
This picture (right) is from a vehicle collision that was attended by C section officers.
As a result, one person suffered near fatal injuries but has since recovered, whilst another involved has been prosecuted for driving with excess alcohol.
It's clear to see how mangled the car is and how lucky the person inside was to be alive.
The PSNI said:
"We attend RTC's (road traffic collisions) on a daily basis, from simple shunts to fatalities.
"Most never make the news despite those involved suffering serious and often life changing injuries."
