A van has been stolen by two men armed with a large knife in Derry/Londonderry.
The owner of the white Mercedes Sprinter was approached by the suspects in the Bracken Park area of the city at around 6.10am this morning.
Police say the were armed with a knife with a six to eight inch blade.
The van was later located crashed into a nearby premises where it bad been set alight.
One man in his twenties has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Officers are keen to identify and speak to a second man believed to have been wearing a black and coat with his hood up.
Detective Constable McArdle said: "We would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have any information to contact us on 101 quoting reference 292 of 13/2/21."
