An investigation continues after a man was allegedly assaulted in Newry last week on Sunday.
Police say some time after 2am on the 19th November the 27 year-old was grabbed from behind and assaulted as he walked from Toragh Gardens towards Carlingford Park.
The victim suffered injuries to his nose and eye.
Constable Bailie appealed to anyone who with information about this assault to contact Police at Newry on 101, quoting reference 1092 20/11/17.
