Magherafelt District Advice Service ends due to lack of funding

Magherafelt District Advice Service is to close at the end of December.

It’s due to lack of funding.

The announcement that it was to shut its doors was made earlier this month.

The free confidential advice service began in October 2008.

Both permanent staff and volunteers helped run the service.
