A man has been left with a fractured skull, hip, jaw and nose after being assaulted in Derry/Londonderry.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday December 19th, took place between the Northland Road junction with Northland Avenue at around 1am in the city.
The 48-year-old victim was treated in hospital for his injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed anything suspicious or who has dash-cam footage to contact them on reference number 180 19/12/21.
They are especially keen to speak with anyone who have witnessed a group of young men in the area of Northland Avenue at approximately 12.30am on the morning of December 19th.
