Around £70,000 has been invested by Mid-Ulster District Council in enhancing the Christmas lights in Dungannon.
The total festive lights budget now stands at over £68,000 – that’s an increase of 133 per cent on last year.
The council has decided to purchase the lighting this year, rather than hire it.
