A 59 year old man's been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, after allegedly trying to stop cars whilst wielding an axe in County Armagh.
It happened on Wednesday evening in the Aghagallon area.
Thankfully no-one was hurt in the incident.
He's due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates' Court on the 30th of November
As a result police have urged people to be aware of the consequences of carrying weapons.
A PSNI spokesperson said:
"If you arm yourself with weapons such as this, you can expect only one response from us.
It's not pretty and it's not friendly, but it is what we will do to keep ourselves and others safe. These are the consequences of carrying weapons."
