An investigation is underway after 13 sheep were killed in Ballymena.
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council says it happened in the early hours yesterday morning, in the Rathkeel Road area of Moorfields.
It's thought a black terrier-type dog could be connected to the attack and may still be present in the area.
Both the farming community and pet owners in the area are asked to remain vigilant.
Anyone who witnesses a stray dog matching the description given or has further information, can contact the senior enforcement officer on 028 25 633 120.
