A teenager is being treated in hospital after being assaulted twice in Derry/Londonderry.
The 19-year-old man was attacked while attending a bonfire in the Galliagh area of the city sometime between 11.45pm last night and 12.15am this morning.
He sustained bruising, swelling to is eyes and scratches to his face during the initial assault.
Police say he was set upon again between 12.30am and 1am by a group of males who were said to have kicked his body repeatedly.
The teen suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital receiving treatment.
