A 22 year old man has suffered injuries to his face after he was assaulted with broken glass in South Belfast.
The attack took place at a property in King Street early this morning.
A 36 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
A police spokesperson said:

A 22 year old man sustained serious injuries to his face after he was assaulted with a broken glass shortly before 1.25am. A 36 year old male was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in police custody at this time.
Detective Sergeant McCallum is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Musgrave on 101 quoting reference 127 28/10/18. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
