24-year-old man shot dead in North Dublin

The 24-year-old man shot dead in North Dublin has been named as Jamie Tighe Ennis .

The shooting happened at approximately 2.20am this morning on Moateview Avenue, Priorswood, Dublin 17. A post mortem examination is being carried out.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident at Moateview Avenue or who may have seen a black Audi A3 00-OY-5067 which was burned out at Prospect Hill, Finglas shortly before 3am to please call 01-6664200 or the Garda confidential line on 1800-666-111.
