A taxi driver has been left shaken after being assaulted at knifepoint in a robbery and hijacking in Derry-Londonderry.
It’s after staff at a shop on Culmore Road were robbed by a man with a knife shortly after 7:30pm on Saturday night.
The assailant then forced the cab driver to take him across the border.
Police say the driver needed eight staples to his head wound after the attack.
Garda officers stopped the car near Muff in County Donegal, where they arrested the 25-year-old suspect.
He’s currently being questioned.
