The Infrastructure Minister's announced major works to two carriageways in Newry and Mourne.
The Bavan/Drumlough Road in Mayobridge and Chancellors Road in Newry are to undergo resurfacing.
It'll cost £440,000.
A temporary road closure and diversions will be in place until the 23rd of December, and again in January.
Preparation's underway with roadworks expected to be complete by the end of January.
