Witnesses to trouble following Ballymena's home win over Glenavon are being urged to come forward.
Police say up to 40 people, including rival football fans, were involved in post-match violence, slightly injuring a policeman in his hand.
Fighting broke out in the Warden Street area, shortly after 10 p.m. on Friday.
Police are examining video footage.
