Attempted ATM theft prompts probe

An investigation's been launched following an attempted cash machine theft outside a Newcastle supermarket.

Detectives say it happened on the Castlewellan Road between 10pm and 11pm last night (Tuesday 14th March).

They're asking anyone who noticed suspicious activity to call them.
