A key part of Ballymena's £4 million Public Realm Scheme has been postponed until the New Year.
The work at Broadway is now suspended until early 2017, amid fears it would have severely disrupted Christmas shopping.
The Public Realm Scheme is being monitored daily, amid sharp criticism from retailers over delayed work and disruption.
