Billy Caldwell is in hospital after suffering a seizure.
The 12-year-old from Castlederg flew back to Northern Ireland yesterday after the Department of Health issued an emergency license allowing doctors in Belfast to treat his severe epilepsy with medicinal cannabis .
His Mum, Charlotte believes the fit was most likely caused by stress from Billy's continuous movement between hotels and hospitals.
In a statement she said: "Billy is high-spectrum autistic. Every doctor on the planet knows that he should be having familiarity and order in his life - his toys, his garden, his bed, his home"
"Instead he's being forced to endure the exact opposite."
